About me
I moved to Denton in 2003 to attend film school at the University of North Texas. I was a transfer from the University of Houston. In 2004, I founded Texas Filmmakers. In 2007, I founded Thin Line Film Fest and released my first feature-length documentary: One-Eyed Girl. In 2006, I became the Director of Denton Public Access TV. When I have the time I work on developing promising ideas in both TV and film.

I am married to my partner and best friend, Denise. We have two small dogs, Koda (7) and Kasper (4). We live in South Denton.

Danniel Cecava created a new topic A-Kon 23: AMV Contest Accepting Submissions in the forums.
Editors & Film Makers. It's time to play the game again. A-Kon's Video Contest & Special Events homepage is updated to reflect 2012 and we are ready to accept your submissions.
__________________________

Submission Deadline: Monday, April 30th 2012

This means we must have your AMV submission information in our database by April 30th. No exceptions. However, you will be allowed extra time to "upload" your video to us, if you need it beyond the submission deadline. Perhaps no more than a week (or two).
__________________________

The rules have remained the same and can be found under each Contest menu, but for this year, we have brought back the Short Films category to play under the miniVent block. Short films are going to be restricted, by event, to their maximum time slot (i.e. Standard contest is limited to 7 minutes). So if you got a short story to tell, film it and we'll screen it at the con.

Good Luck, everybody!
