About Us
Texas Filmmakers was created in February of 2004 to meet the needs of the growing film and video community in Denton,
TX. In the city of Denton alone, there are thousands of people interested in various aspects of film and video production;
whether its camera work, set design, choreography, costume design, sound design, etc. Since then, our vision has expanded to include all the regional film & video communities throughout Texas. The goal is to facilitate networking among people with varying skill sets in order to create a more collaborative environment in Texas.
In addition, Texas Filmmakers strives to provide real production resources to the independent and emerging media maker in North Texas.
Texas Filmmakers is a 501(c)(3) public charity. We are a grassroots movement made up of people who think artists throughout our communities should have access to the tools needed to succeed.
